The following functionality is available on Linn DS devices that have a front panel display. A remote control handset is required to invoke the functionality. A playlist must first be loaded to the device via a Linn compliant control point (Playlist source must be selected if available). 3rd party UpnpAv control points currently only support playlists of 1 track, so will not work (currently playlist sizes up to 1000 tracks are supported otherwise).

- Press the Select key (circle shaped key inside navigation arrow keys) to jump to the previewed track
- A naviagtion icon will appear on the display (shows four arrows). If the up or down arrows are missing, you have reached the top or bottom of the playlist respectively)
- Navigation mode will timeout after 10s of no navigation input (no new track will be selected)
- Cancel by pressing the DISP key

- Select the track number you wish to play by pressing the corresponding digit key

- After 2s, the track number entered will be selected (invalid entries will be ignored)
