The Unidisk, with the Kisto allows playback of SACD, CD and DVD discs. The communication link between these products allowed the Kisto to quickly change its configuration to match the disc format. The Kisto's original purpose was to be used in a home theatre and assist control of the area with switch closures, control of the Projector etc.as well as dealing with the many video standard available are that time.
