Selekt:Exakt crossover for Aktiv 2/3-way

The Selekt DSM has Stereo 3-Way Exakt Engine. This allows you to use the Selekt DSM as 2-way or 3-way Exakt Crossover


In Linn Account Manage systems go into the GENERAL tab and open the "Network Player" page. Finally go to Change Configuration and select the required loudspeaker;

These are examples of wiring a Exakt Crossover system in different Amplifier configurations:
The loudspeaker must be made Externally Exakt and any shorting links/bridging strip across the loudspeaker back panel MUST be removed according to the amplifier/speaker wiring. Please refer to a Linn Retailer to ensure that this is done correctly

Notes:

  • The loudspeakers MUST be configured for Exakt operation.
  • Check the Manage Systems - General for the connection information, >
  • This will work with both Line Level and Power Amplifier Selekt cartridges.(Check the cartridge notes on mixing both types of cartridges in the same Selekt DSM)
  • No HDMI Switching module is required for this setup.
  • Do NOT mix Selekt power amplifier cartridges and Selekt Line-Level cartridges for Bi-Amp/Tri-Amp/Quad-Amp... system This is due to the Selekt power amplifier having a lower gain than other Linn amplifier. Therefore, the feeds to loudspeaker inputs from the Selekt power amplifier and external power amplifier will be mismatched in volume.
