The wireless control point provides the user interface (via the Linn GUI) for accessing music and controlling playback. The device can be either a UMPC (ultra-mobile PC) or a standard computer/laptop.


Minimum requirements:

UMPC

• 800 x 480

• Microsoft Windows XP Tablet PC edition 2005

• 800 MHz processor or greater


Windows PC/laptop

• Windows XP Professional 2002

• 800 MHz processor or greater

  • An approved device is one that meets all the system requirements for that product type, and has additionally been tested by Linn. Many other non-approved devices will work perfectly well with the Klimax DS. However, it is possible you will encounter issues with poorly implemented 3rd party products that impact the performance of the Klimax DS system.
