System Design
Kustom DSM operation
The Kustom DSM Z8 has four Streamers, (Linn DS players) and eight Zones (audio output Volume and Standby).
After you have configured which Zones associate to which streamer you can use the Linn control App, Control4 and Crestron to the system. These Zone to streamer associations are fixed ONLY via the Konfig app.
- When you bring a Zone out of Standby this will also wake up the associated streamer AND ALL other Zones associated with this streamer
- If you are only going to be using single zones with the occational sharing audio with other zones then we would advise that you only that one Streamer is associated with that single Zone. You can easily Songcast to other zones at your leisure, that waking up that Zone will ONLY wake up that Zone.

Multiple Zones should only be associated with a single streamer is you always want these Zones brought on together.
