Speaker Cabinet Cleaning Advice

Note: The cloth supplied with 360 speakers is intended for cleaning the metal trims. Do not use this cloth on the cabinet. Only use high quality microfibre cloths to clean or polish the painted and lacquered surfaces. Low quality microfibre cloths may cause scratches. We recommend 70% polyester, 30% polyamide, 500gsm minimum.

Satin Finish

To clean: Use a clean microfibre cloth and spray a fine mist of deionised water on the cloth. Gently wipe off any marks by lightly moving the cloth in a single direction and then lightly finish off with a dry microfibre cloth. Do not apply force or this may cause the paint finish to shine.
Do not use furniture polish, cutting compounds or any other chemicals on satin finishes.

High Gloss Finish

To clean: Spray a fine mist of deionised water onto a clean microfibre cloth and gently wipe the surface of the speaker in a single direction. Do not apply force. Use a dry microfibre cloth to finish off the process. For stubborn marks, a small amount of furniture polish can be sprayed onto the damp cloth as well as the deionised water.
To polish: Apply a small amount of medium cutting compound, similar to what would be used to polish a car, to a dry microfibre cloth and lightly polish the speaker with a circular motion. Do not apply force. Wipe off any excess cutting compound with a dry microfibre cloth.
Next, apply a small amount of finishing compound to a fresh, dry microfibre cloth and lightly polish the surface. Again, do not apply force. Finish off by buffing lightly with a dry microfibre cloth.
