The media server indexes and allows retrieval of the music from the NAS.
Minimum requirements:
- UPnP AV 1.0 certified or DNLA 1.0
- FLAC support
- Easy installation on a NAS
Media servers that Linn have approved* for use:
- TwonkyMedia 4.4 for use on the Infrant Ready NAS NV+
- Approved software meets all the system requirements for that software type, and has additionally been tested by Linn. Other non-approved software may work perfectly well with DS players. However, it is possible you will encounter issues with poorly implemented third-party software that impact the performance of the DS system.
