Variants, what do I have?

There are multiple versions of the Majik DSM: -

The original Majik DSM (No HDMI) : Majik DSM/0 (2009 Variant)

Majik DSM with HDMI connections  : Majik DSM/1 (2012 Variant)

Majik DSM with Exakt capabilty: Majik DSM/2 (2015 Variant)

Majik DSM with 4k (HDMI 2.0) capability: Majik DSM/3 (2016 / 2018 Variant)

Majik DSM with Class D Amplifiers: Majik DSM/4 (2024 Variant)

Majik DSM with control dial, Exakt & SubWoofer outputs: Majik DSM/5 (2025 Variant)

How do find out what variant product I have?

There are two ways to find this out:

1. If your Linn DS/DSM has not been upgraded, (that is, original circuit boards). If you look at the serial number label on the bottom of the Linn DS/DSM this will tell you the product name with variant. That is the number after the '/'.

e.g. The image below in from a AKurate DS / 3

2. If your Linn DS/DSM has had any circuit board changes, we suggest using Manage Systems web-page and check the "Music Systems" page. This will tell you the variant.
