  1. MAINS INPUT - To connect to the mains electricity supply.
  2. EARTH GROUND - To connect to an earthing terminal if no mains earth is available or to join to the earths of other products in the system to improve performance in areas of poor/noisy electrical earth conditions.
  3. SPEAKER OUTPUTS - To connect to loudspeakers
  4. ANALOGUE OUTPUTS (RCA, variable/fixed level) - To connect to a preamplifier or power amplifier if the internal volume control is enabled.
  5. ANALOGUE AUDIO IN - For connection to line-level source products such as a CD player, radiotuner, tape deck, etc.
  6. RC5 IN, OUT - Allowing control of hidden Linn devices connected via their RC5 ports.
  7. IR OUT 1 & 2'- Infrared flasher connectors. Allow the control of devices that accept infra-red signals.
  8. RS232 PORTS - For connection to Linn source products without ethernet ports.
  9. ETHERNET - For connecting the unit to the network.
  10. SPDIF IN - For connection to digital electrical (coaxial) source products, such as a CD players, Set-top boxes, games consoles, DVD players etc.
  11. TOSLINK IN - For connection to digital optical source products, such as a CD players, Set-top boxes, games consoles, DVD players etc.

  2. FALLBACK - Used when re-programming the unit.
