Ripping software is not part of the system specification.

Minimum requirements:

  • Supports "accurate ripping" (i.e. guarantees the integrity of the rip)
  • FLAC support
  • Supports Linn Digital Media Meta-Data Standard, available from here Platform:Network Media:Documentation and Linfo.


Ripping software that Linn have approved* for use:

  • EAC
  • Ripstation Micro DS
