Back Panel Connections

  1. POWER SWITCH- Switches the power on/off
  2. MAINS INPUT - To connect to the mains electricity supply.
  3. EARTH GROUND - To connect to an earthing terminal if no mains earth is available or to join to the earths of other products in the system to improve performance in areas of poor/noisy electrical earth conditions.
  4. ETHERNET - To connect to the network.
  5. FALLBACK - To put the device into Fallback mode (used when reprogramming).
  6. RS232 PORTS - To connect to other Linn products without ethernet ports.
  7. BALANCED AUDIO OUTPUTS - To connect to a preamplifier with balanced (XLR) analogue audio inputs.
  8. UNBALANCED AUDIO OUTPUTS - To connect to a preamplifier with unbalanced (RCA) analogue audio inputs.

  1. DISP BUTTON - Changes the front panel display mode
  2. FRONT PANEL DISPLAY
  3. STANDBY BUTTON - Brings the unit out of, or puts into, standby
  4. SKIP BUTTONS <</>> - Skips to the Previous/Next track
  5. STOP/PLAY BUTTONS - Stops or Starts the current track
