Installation
Please read the following carefully before installing the unit in your system – your unit may need to be reconfigured by your Linn retailer.
- The ExaktBox is shipped from Linn with no speaker setup and must be configured with Konfig software.
Operation
The Exaktbox Sub can only be used in conjunction with Exakt speakers or Exaktboxes with two channel audio
You cannot mix the Exaktbox-Sub with the left/right speakers being fed from the Linn DS/DSM analogue sockets. Konfig will allow you to set this up but no audio will fed to the ExaktBox-sub
If you try and connect up the Exaktbox sub with non-Exakt speakers, Konfig will enable Space Optimisation+ and only list the Exakt products, it will NOT list any passive speakers. This means that you cannot setup the room for Space optimisation as only the Exaktbox sub can be setup.
Setup the Exaktbox Sub in the same manner as an Akurate Exaktbox, select the Speaker (or sub-woofer in this case), enter the serial number and which channel to process -left, right or Mono. (If you are using two sub-woofers define one as left and one as right or both as mono. If you are only using one subwoofer select Mono)
