Your Linn Radikal will need to be installed and configured by your Linn retailer.
;Note
: The motor used with the Radikal (2009 variant) and Radikal II/III (2021 & 2025 variant) are different and not interchangeable, therefore an LP12 that has been installed with a Radikal (2009 variant) motor needs to have this replaced to work with a Radikal II/III (2021 & 2025 variant).

:The motor used with the Radikal III (2025 variant) is identifiable by the blue band around the Neutrik connector. 


;Fault Detection

:If the Linn roundel on the front of the Radikal III is RED, this means that a fault has been detected. This can indicate one of two faults:
:: The motor is not properly connected
:: The tachometer (speed sensor) board is not properly connected
: Check the wiring for both

;Clipping

:If the Linn roundel on the front of the Radikal III is periodically flashes RED, this means that an audio is clipping. This can indicate that the cartridge gain may be incorrect. Or an issue with your vinyl:
:: Get your retailer to check your cartridge settings.



;Factory reset

:To factory reset, 
::# Hold the button on the deck and 
::# Press the mode switch on the back of the RADIKAL once. 
:The RADIKAL will wipe it's flash memory, restart and program the factory default values.
