Davaar 99 Build 491 (4.99.491) Released on 29 March 2023

  • Fix Exakt update failures while DS is in standby. #8233.
  • Change Exakt LEDs configuration options from "On/Off" to "Bright/Dimmed" and extend control to speaker LEDs, where supported.
  • Surround Module Decode Mode - option now available via dial/handset
  • Fixed issue where invoking a pinned Qobuz album would only load the first 10 tracks
  • Added ability to update older devices with displays via the front panel/handset. Can be accessed via the help menu, see below on how to access using different handsets.
    • REM 019: press the 'Help' key
    • REM 020: press and hold the '#' key
    • REM 021: press and hold the shuffle key

Davaar 99 Build 489 (4.99.489) Released on 15 March 2023

  • Fixed issue with software version reporting as 4.0.xxxx
  • Added version info reporting from fallback
  • NOTE: requires Konfig 4.37.172 or higher

  • Fixed #7679: Surround Module Decode Mode - Resolve ARC/SPDIF upmix issue
  • Fixed #8204: Surround Module - Remove speaker size settings incorrectly applied
  • Fixed #8199: Have CI Gateway Enable/Disable option appear on Setup device rather than Stream 1 device for Kustom products.
  • Increased source visibility when selecting via the front panel display on products with larger displays
